With Mealys, you will be advised as to whether your item(s) are suitable for our general sales, or our specialised sales.

Private Treaty Sales
If you do not wish for your item, consignment or collection to be offered to the generalpublic by public auction you can opt for a private treaty sale, whereby your item(s) will only be offered to select groups. This can be favourable in situations where the vendor would like the item(s) to be purchased by an organ of state, such as museums, galleries, universities etc. due to, for instance, their national significance or importance.
